The Guest Soap Dish is our smallest at only 2" x 2.75" and available in several types of wood.
We recommend storing handcrafted soaps in a dry area, away from humidity until ready to use. Once opened a soap should be placed out of direct exposure to water on a quality soap dish with minimal surface area to maximize water drainage from the soap. This not only allows your soap to dry quicker, but extends life to the soap.
When choosing a soap dish, it's important to pick dishes that provide minimal contact with your soap to allow for good drainage and air flow. The quicker you soap dries, the longer it will last.
Did you know that you can also extend the life of your soap dish? Use one dish for 2-3 weeks, then switch it out with the second dish to allow the first dish to completely dry out while you are using the second dish for 2-3 weeks. Doing this will prevent mold and mildew from developing and growing on your dish and greatly extend the life of the dish. When you are ready to switch soap dishes, make sure to clean to first one well and set away from water and humid environments to allow it to completely dry.
All of the soap dishes we offer are hand crafted.
